Teachers

Be a part of the solution to air pollution, smog and climate change and live a healthier lifestyle at the same time. The HSBC Clean Air Achievers program focuses on improving transportation behaviours to benefit air quality and personal health. It gives you and your students the tools and guidance to increase your physical activity levels while reducing your impact on the environment through green house gas emissions.

Our Champions play important roles as program educators and make two visits to your class: one to launch the program in your classroom and one to celebrate your students' successes in becoming Clean Air Achievers.

DO NOT FORGET TO BOOK YOUR CHAMPION!  Simply click on Book A Champion and fill in the form.

As a teacher you have access to many program components on this website:

The Program Materials section provides you with an electronic copy of the Teacher Manual as well as some of the activity worksheets taken directly from the manual.

The Teacher Orientation section will guide you through the program and also provides you with step by step instructions of how to use the Trip Tracker.

The Curriculum Connections section allows you to view the curriculum connections by province. Each document separates the curriculum connections by grade.

The Class Summary section will provide you with a detailed description of your classes progress throughout the program. You can view each student's individual progress as well as the overall class progress. It also will provide you with the final results for your class.

The Certificates section will provide you with the scoring criteria used to determine the final standings of the students as Clean Air Achievers. You will also download and print the certificates for the Champion's celebration presentation.

The FAQ section answers some Frequently Asked Questions about the HSBC Clean Air Achievers program.

You also have access to the Trip Tracker as well as the Activities, Quizzes and Games section.
