Top-level fuel efficiency is a central goal of every model developed at Honda. This involves using weight and drag reduction technologies, while maximizing engine and power transfer efficiency. Honda has been a consistent leader in the development and broad application of fuel-efficient technolgies, including all-aluminum low-friction engines; variable valve timing and electronic control (VTECTM); 5-speed, electronically controlled automatic and continuously variable transmissions; weight-saving materials such as aluminum and high-tensile steel; and advanced fuel-efficiency technologies. Honda has also led in the development of advanced technologies including Variable Cylinder Management (VCMTM) cylinder idling system and Honda's Integrated Motor Assist (IMATM) gas-electric hybrid technology.

Earthdreams is a global initiative that is supporting and empowering a range of environmental projects, funded by the Honda Racing F1 team and its partners. The earthdreams' network comprises projects which focus on the themes of mobility, technology, sustainability and education. Clean Air Champions is the 9th project that earthdreams is supporting, and is doing so in partnership with Honda Canada.

The partnership with earthdreams will help Clean Air Champions expand our programs in scope and reach, and will expose CAC internationally wherever earthdreams is touring.
