Since starting teaching P.E. in 1996-97, I have first hand accounts of experiencing an increase in the number of students that were being diagnosed with asthma and were unable to participate fully with the class. As a result, the implications for these students quality of life is such that there are many social and health implications as a result of their inability to be fully involved in activity!
I am a secondary Physical Education teacher with a minor in Environmental Outdoor Education and feel that this might be a perfect fit for me. It is important to me that I am attempting to be as socially responsible for the world that I am borrowing from my children! Marcel started teaching in 1996-97 with Edmonton Public Schools in P.E./outdoor environmental education with a minor in French as a second language. He has been curling for 26 years with an impressive record of championships.
