It frustrates me that people don't use their bodies as a means of transportation more often because I know how good I feel when I am moving and breathing clean air. In short, if I could make a difference in how people view the importance of clean air through my involvement in sport, i would be thrilled. It has always been a goal of mine to have a positive effect on people in some form or fashion.
Through training and University life, I have come to realize the importance of a clean and healthy environment. I depend on my lungs to make a living and when the air I am breathing is not clean, I feel it big time, especially when I am training. I see too many people driving vehicles where there is only one person in the car and I see too many people driving cars when their legs work fine and in places where public transit is very good.
