Why the environment is important to me:

As an kayaker, I have the privilege or training and competing on Canada's fresh water lakes and rivers everyday. Because I spend so much time enjoying Canada's outdoors, I feel that I have a special obligation to help keep it clean.

Why am I a Clean Air Champion?

I think it's really important to help educate people on the importance of keeping the planet clean, and how there are so many simple things that people can do everyday to help reduce our ecological footprint on the Earth. I ride my bike to school and practice everyday, and I want people to know how easy and convenient little differences like this can make.
